In the beginning of this year, I took a long weekend trip to visit some friends in Austen and escape the BRUTAL midwestern winter… here’s some of what we were up to🌸

If you’ve known me for any amount of time you would know that cute little coffee shops are my OBSESSION… so finding some cutie ones in Austen was a must😬

In between hikes and yummy food spots, some of the coffee shops we stopped into were Houndstooth, Alta’s cafe (it was on the water and soo pretty😍) Alfred, and Coffeehouse at Caroline.

Yes. Yes a lot of coffee was consumed. No. No regrets were had.

The trails we hiked were so pretty😍 I wanted to unplug a bit for some of the trip so I only show one of the trails we hit here, but this one was probably my favorite one- called “Dripping Springs”

Let me know some of your fave spots in Austin, Texas! There will DEFINATELY be more trips in the near future😍

Side note.

Does anyone else keep wanting to spell Austin Texas ‘Austen”?? EVERYTIME I have to double check my spelling😒 LOL
