Another Coffee Shop Adventure:)

Caffe Streets!! This is one of my all time favourite coffee places in the city!

My favourite thing to get here is the gluten free dairy free Banana chocolate chip oat bar, with a coconut milk latte! As I've written in my about page, I struggle sometimes finding foods that are gluten and dairy free. When you go to cafes, they either don't have any at all, or its one or the other: gluten free with dairy, or dairy free with gluten. But what I love about Caffe Streets is that they do both for this pastry and a rare gluten and dairy free cinnamon coffee cake that I've only seen once haha ( I keep hoping it'll pop up again one day!!). Otherwise they do a lot of other gluten free or dairy free pastries too! And they offer coconut milk which is my favourite alternative to regular milk. Unlike almond milk which alters the taste of coffee quite a bit, I've found that coconut milk is the closest thing to tasting like a latte originally should, and also it gets frothy and foamy like a normal latte:):)

I also love the decor and vibe of Caffe Streets:) Every time I go in there there's a different genre of music playing. The people who come in and get coffee are locals and regulars, they know each others names and make the time to say hi and quickly catch up with each other. I love just sitting and watching the interactions at Caffe Streets; they've crafted an amazing community of people who come there to socialise, work, and be creative in community. And in the summer, they have an outdoor seating area with just the right amount of sunlight and shade to sit in while sipping your yummy iced coffee:):)
